Scooby Doo holds a special place in my heart. On weekends when it aired on Cartoon Network, "late at night", and mumma used to give us permission to watch cartoons after 10pm— Scooby Doo was relished with some warm Bournvita milk and a pillow fort (for protection, of course).
From the comforting yet spooky plotlines, the show had most of the common tropes you find in ensemble characters today: the jock, the brain, the hot one, the goofball, and the dog— the characters transcended easy classification by often breaking stereotypical behaviours. Making me believe that I did not have to choose one role to play, but I could be all of them at different points in time.
My illustration is a rendition of the original Scooby Doo from 1969, complete with the Impolite ears, brows, and nose.
Perfect to put in your space; either framed or unframed. Its mere purpose is to add a burst of positivity to your everyday life! They also make the perfect gift for anyone you think would vibe and enjoy these shapes and colours— a feminist, art lover or someone on their self love journey :)
